Day 1: Arrival at Tangier Port/Airport – transfer to a Hotel to relax

Our driver will take you on a 10-day north-to-south tour of Morocco before dropping you off at your accommodation in Tangier.

Day 2: Tangier port and drive to Chefchaouen

On the second day of your vacation, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a magnificent drive via the Rif Highlands and Tetoun City to Chefchaouan, one of the most beautiful villages at the foot of the Rif Mountains. At Chefchaouen’s medina, which surrounds a Spanish-style square, you may spend a peaceful evening soaking in the views and sounds of nature at one of the several restaurants or cafés with rooftop terrace.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

After breakfast at the riad in the morning, we will proceed on an authentic journey to Volubilis, passing via Ouazan and other rif villages along the way. Once we arrive, we’ll explore the ancient Roman ruins and learn about the archeological site’s role in the history of Morocco, before continuing on to Meknes, a city with an abundance of 17th-century architecture.

After departing Meknes, we will go directly to Fes, where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Fes Sightseeing

After a delicious breakfast at your Riad, you will walk to the oldest city in Morocco. The first stop on our visit is the 16th-century Mellah, the Jewish quarter that serves as the royal family’s administrative hub. From the oldest university in the region, Al Qaraouine, through the tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the mausoleum of Mulay Idriss, we will ensure that you experience all of the cultural and historical sites. After lunch, you will visit the tile cooperative and enjoy a panoramic view of the Medina of Fes.

Day 5: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz valley - Erfoud - Merzouga

At 8 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Merzouga through the Middle Atlas, a 350-kilometer mountain range extending from the south-west to the north. On the journey, we will pass by places such as Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland” for the architecture of its residences, and Azrou, one of Morocco’s most renowned Berber cities. We will traverse the valley and gorges of Ziz, as well as places like as Midelt and Erfoud. We will travel a desert trail from Erfoud to Merzouga. We will spend the night at a hotel near the entrance to the desert.

Day 6: Merzouga desert excursion

On the next day, we will explore the most breathtaking region in the Eastern Sahara. We will approach the desert in a 4×4 vehicle, see nomad communities, admire oasis, and pass the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Following the route, we will reach the well-known village of Khamlia, where the gnawa are located. The descendants of African slaves have come, and we shall admire their beautiful folk music. We will return to the hotel at night to ride camels that will transport us to the Berber camp in the center of the dunes, where we will eat and spend the night.

Day 7: Merzouga village - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley

After seeing a spectacular dawn on the dunes, we will return to the hotel on camels the next morning. Breakfast will be followed by a visit to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges before the day concludes in the Dades Valley.

Day 8: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - High Atlas mountain - Marrakech

Following breakfast, we will travel over the Dades Valley to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. In the “route of a thousand Kasbahs” across the Dades Valley, you can shoot a large deal of photographs. Before to traveling to Ouarzazat, sometimes known as “the Hollywood of Africa,” we will visit the Roses valley and the town of Skoura. The vast Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah in the center of the Moroccan desert is where we will have lunch. Following seeing this World Heritage site, we will continue our journey by traversing the High Atlas Mountains through the spectacular 2,260-meter-high Tizi nTichka pass. We will pause to take in the landscape and visit the argan oil cooperative. We expect arriving in Marrakech late in the afternoon.

Day 9: Sightseeing in Marrakech

A local trip guided by a native guide leads us to Bahia Palace and Djemma el Fna Plaza, where we see palm readers, acrobats, camels, and other attractions. We’ll take a break for some sweet mint tea. Evenings will be spent relaxing at your hotel or riad, writing postcards, or exploring the neighborhood. (Dinner/Breakfast).

Day 10: Marrakech to Marrakech/Casablanca airport

At the agreed hour, we will go to the airport and conclude our 10-day desert tour from Tangier.
