Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes
Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your Fes hotel and travel with you to the south of Morocco. Our first stop will be Ifrane, sometimes known as the Switzerland of Morocco, where we will photograph the city’s amazing splendor. Following seeing Barbary apes in a cedar grove in Azrou, we travel to Midelt for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Azrou. In the afternoon, our 2 Days Desert Trip from Fes to Merzouga travels to Errachidia through the TIZI N TALGHAMT road, while enjoying panoramic views of the Ziz gorges from Ziz valley. Next, we continue on to the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi, passing via Aoufous and Erfoud, where we stop to see a local fossil-craft studio. After freshening up at the hotel, we ride camels for an hour and a half to reach our desert camp, where we will eat a fantastic meal and spend the night in nomad tents under the stars.
Day 2 : Erg Chebbi Dunes – Fez
By getting early, you will have the opportunity to see the dawn from the top of the magnificent dunes. After a satisfying breakfast, you will ride your camel and return to the hotel for a brief shower. Then, we will return to Fez along the picturesque road and drop you off at your Fez lodgings which marks the end of our 2 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Merzouga.
